Glass & steel
5”x5”x5”
Here is a series of iridescent glass panels that were created with the intent of incorporating them into a larger mixed media sculpture. Only nine are displayed on this page, but a total of fifteen tablets comprise a larger, single image. The idea is to weld together a grid of steel on which to frame the designs into one continuous assembly.
This page displays a single photograph sampling of 2”x2” tiles that were designed with interior & architectural design in mind. Whether you’re looking for accent tiles to be installed in a backsplash, a full array to line the bottom of a pool or just a single piece to adorn your countertop, there’s bound to be the right tile design for you. Scroll through more pages under the “Work” tab to see detailed shots of all the different designs.
This page displays the variety of ways in which the Aventurine Blue Rainbow Iridescence line can turn out during the fabrication process. Included are some duplicates of the same design, but note they are different tiles. Each piece is unique depending on which part of the glass sheet from which it is taken. Iridescent sheens cover these works in unpredictable ways & there’s no telling how one may turn out in terms of the specific marbled blue pattern. The design on the work may be the same, but no two tiles are exactly alike.
